Stacy McEnaney, FNP

Stacy McEnaney is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who joined Heights Dermatology in 2020 in Willowbrook. She grew up in the Greater Heights area of Houston, Texas and attended St. Pius X High School. In 2005, Stacy graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Community Health, with emphasis in Health Education. She completed an internship at MD Anderson Cancer Hospital and developed the first pilot health education program for skin cancer prevention. She then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas Health Science Center of Houston and obtained her degree in 2007. After several years of working as a bedside nurse, Stacy decided to pursue her master’s degree. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Cizik School of Nursing in 2017. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and was the recipient of the Dean’s Excellence Scholarship.

Stacy’s background in nursing prior to her role as nurse practitioner includes 14 years of bedside nursing in both labor and delivery and high-risk obstetric units at institutions in the Texas Medical Center, including The Women’s Hospital of Texas, Memorial Hermann and Texas Children’s Pavilion for Women. She spent 2 years working as an NP in OB/GYN and performing non-invasive aesthetic procedures for a local concierge medical spa. It is there where she realized her passion for cosmetic and clinical dermatology. She has a special interest and focus for prevention. She strives to provide the highest quality of care, education, and evidence-based practice to patients both directly and indirectly. She is currently a member of Houston Area Nurse Practitioners, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and Dermatology Nurse’s Association for Nurse Practitioners.

She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She maintains balance by exercising and staying active as often as possible. She loves to cook, travel, and listen to live music.
